Bill has more than 40 years experience in the mining industry. Bill has served on the boards of other mining companies including JCI Anglo Platinum Limited, Avmin Limited and Kumba Resources Limited. He was appointed Non-Executive Chairman on the MDM board in April 2008.
Martin was appointed as CEO of MDM Engineering in March 2010. Martin has 25 years experience in the engineering and construction business and has been involved in many large projects in the metal and mineral industry in Southern Africa. He started his career at Sasol as a bursary holder, joined the construction industry for 15 years before moving into the EPC(M) contracting environment. Martin’s previous two positions held were MD of the Grinaker-LTA Metals & Minerals division and MD of Bateman, Sub-Saharan Africa region. Martin is a Professional Engineer with a Government Competency Certificate (GCC). He has completed post graduate leadership training at UNISA and at the University of Austin.
A founder of MDM Engineering in 2006 and MDM CEO until 2008, George has 20 years experience in the investment banking industry. Prior to starting MDM he was CEO of Shanta Gold Ltd..
Dominique is a Chartered Accountant and also has a higher diploma in Taxation. He joined MDM from Rockwell Diamonds Inc in 2008 and has more than 10 years experience in the mining industry.
A Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Management Accountant, Mark completed his articles at Coopers & Lybrand before joining Anglo American’ Corporate and International Finance Department. He is currently the CFO of the Amari Holdings Group and the majority shareholder in MDM.
Dave has over 35 years’ experience in extractive metallurgy including 30 years of process plant design and commissioning and feasibility study management. He has been with MDM since its inception in 1989.
